Dr. Bob Bowman, a national security authority and former Director of Star Wars under Presidents Ford & Carter will be speaking on the topics of "The Unseen Realities in Washington D.C." and the State of Our Nation. Houseparty!

Mary Fuchsman is hosting our next Houseparty this Saturday, August 9 from 2-4pm. I hope you will be able to join us. The Honorable Paul Koretz, (Assemblyman - Retired) will be our featured speaker.

Paul had a distinguished career in the State Legislature, is now the Director of the Jewish Labor Committee and is running for LA City Council in 2009. He has been a social justice activist all his life and has made an impressive impact throughout his career. He currently serves as the co-chair of the LA County Democratic Party Legislative Committee on which I (Carole Lutness) sit. I have come to deeply admire the breadth of his understanding as well as his great ability to work with and move people toward action.
