In 2000 many democrats belive that Nadar took enough votes from Gore to cause him to loose the election. In 1992 most republicans feel that H. Ross Perot gave Bill Clinton a gift. Is there ever a time when a 3rd party or independant candidate would get YOUR vote?

Say Al Gore were to run as a Green or Independant pushing his environmental agenda? Or if John Edwards looses the primary and were to team up with Wesley Clark or even Chuck Hagel or some other well respected liberal republican to run as an independant? Maybe even a 3rd party playing to both republicans and democrats?

I'm wondering just how dissatisfied the country really is?

Let's say we wind up with Hillary Clinton against Rudy Guiliani? Can a 3rd choice win? Who would you be willing to vote for as an alternative to that matchup?

Or would you vote democrat regardless of the choice?
