First, I want to thank you for everything you are doing to help my campaign and Democrats across Oregon.

We are just four days from victory and I want share with you an important update.

Last night, the Oregonian/KATU poll showed that Oregonians are rallying to our vision for moving Oregon forward. I’ve traveled our state and heard one message loud and clear: Democrats are winning this year, and it’s because of you - the grassroots volunteers committed to strong Democratic leadership in Oregon and a new direction in America.

But we’re not done yet.

Your efforts and energy are making the difference, and I appreciate everything you are doing, but we need to keep pushing through to 8 pm on Election Day. At this point, the only way we can lose and allow George Bush and Ron Saxton to win is if we stop working.

We have watched the President and the Republicans in Congress lead our country down the wrong path. In Oregon, we have fought their misguided policies, stood up for our citizens, and we've been right from the start.

Now, with Democrats poised to take over in Washington and Salem, the promise of a brighter Oregon is within reach. With Democrats in charge, we will have new opportunities to invest in education, improve health care and protect our environment.

But we can't do it unless our voters get to the polls, and that’s where you come in.

Republicans are counting on their turnout operations and hoping that we rest on our early leads. We have to show they’re wrong: that Democrats are going to have their voices heard and vote.
