On June 9, Rep. Kucinich introduced 35 Articles of Impeachment against President Bush. Rep. Kucinich thoroughly researched and documented each of these Articles, assembling a case for impeachment that is overwhelming. Since President Bush set out to invade Iraq in 2002, Meet the Press has utterly failed in its obligation to examine the President's propaganda and lies, and in its obligation to interview critics of the President. I urge you to devote a full half-hour of this week's Meet the Press to a one-on-one interview with Rep. Dennis Kucinich.

As you know, Rep. Kucinich introduced 35 Articles of Impeachment against President Bush on June 9, 2008. He also introduced 3 Articles of Impeachment against Vice President Cheney on April 24, 2007.

Rep. Kucinich has not been a guest on Meet the Press since May 23, 2004, even though he has been the leading Congressional opponent of the invasion and occupation of Iraq - and his determination to bring our troops safely home as quickly as possible is supported by 68% of Americans.

Less than a month before the invasion of Iraq, on February 23, 2003, Rep. Kucinich was attacked on Meet the Press for saying Iraq's oil was one of the reasons the Bush Administration was planning to invade. Former host Tim Russert demanded to know, "Do you believe the president of the United States would risk the lives of American men and women for oil?" On September 27, 2007, Alan Greenspan proved Kucinich right when he wrote, "I am saddened that it is politically inconvenient to acknowledge what everyone knows: the Iraq war is largely about oil."

During the 2008 Presidential campaign, Meet the Press and NBC exhibited outrageous editorial bias against Rep. Kucinich by excluding him from the "Meet the Candidates" series, and by disinviting Rep. Kucinich from the January 15, 2008 debate in Las Vegas.

Before President Bush invaded Iraq, Meet the Press utterly failed to give serious consideration to millions of Americans who opposed the invasion - led by Rep. Kucinich. Despite the accumulation of overwhelming evidence that the invasion was based on lies, Meet the Press has utterly failed to give serious consideration to millions of Americans who believe George Bush and Dick Cheney should be held accountable through impeachment - led once again by Rep. Kucinich.
