On 5/10/07, Rep. John Spratt betrayed the voters and troops of South Carolina's 6th Congressional District by voting to continue George Bush's disastrous Iraq War forever.
Democrats.com is looking for an "aggressive progressive" Democrat who will challenge Spratt in a Democratic primary in 2008.

I have been forced to conclude that we no longer live in a democracy. Our country really isn't even a republic anymore. The vote for the war by the politicians who we sent to Washington to stop the war makes that completely undeniable. Those who ran as Democrats and voted for the war funding are disingenuous and able to lie at will just as the GOP does. We should recall them all and demand true representation just as we did in Boston a couple of hundred years ago.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I won't get fooled again! SPRATT HAS BETRAYED SOUTH CAROLINA AND IT'S CLEAR THAT HE SUPPORTS A PRESIDENT WHO HAS PROVEN OVER AND OVER AGAIN TO BE A WAR CRIMINAL!
