Repeal the Authorization to Use Force (Attack Iraq) and Withdraw Our Troops

250 have signed – see totals by state and Congressional District.
We are adamantly opposed to the $124 Billion Supplemental Appropriations bill that gives George Bush the money he needs to keep U.S. troops in Iraq until 2008. The "benchmarks" that supposedly require Bush to bring troops home by August 2008 have no enforcement mechanism and will just be ignored. The only real power Congress has to end the war is to restrict the use of all funds for a "fully-funded withdrawal" as proposed by Rep. Barbara Lee in an Amendment that she was not even allowed to introduce. We urge all Representatives to stand with Representatives Barbara Lee, Maxine Waters, Lynn Woolsey, Lacy Clay, Raul Grijalva, Dennis Kucinich, John Lewis, and Donald Payne in their principled and courageous decision to vote NO on the Supplemental.
