SHOULD WE ELIMINATE THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE?765 have signed – see totals by state and Congressional District. Why don't you tell Congress where you stand? Here, we'll make it easy for you. All you have to do is fill in one form now and with one click we will send your personal message to both of your senators, your house representative too. We'll even look them up based on your address and tell you who they are. Just a few simple words from you mean more than any form letter can. Please read the question carefully to make sure your vote matches your comments.
If you think we should keep the electoral college then vote "No", otherwise if you believe it would be more fair to elect the president directly by popular vote, then vote "Yes". Even if you don't think your particular representatives would agree with your position it is important for them to hear from you.

Petition InstructionsThank you for taking a stand on this important issue! Our petition system (created by The People's Email Network) will deliver the message on the left directly to your two U.S. Senators and one Representative, and you will see their names after you press submit. We request your address so (a) we can identify your Representatives; (b) your Representatives can verify that you live in their district; (c) your Representatives can send you a reply. If you are a U.S. citizen living abroad, use your U.S. voting address (usually your last U.S. address even if you no longer get mail there.) Sections (2) and (3) are purely optional. We hope you'll use (3) to tell your friends because the more people who sign our petitions, the more Congress will listen to us. You should expect a reply from your Representatives by email or snail mail. If you do not, call their office at 202-225-3121 and ask why they have not responded to your constituent email.
