Bogus Ethics Bill Passes House
Our friends at Think Progress report that the House of Representatives just passed by a vote of 217-213 the conservative version of a reform bill that the Washington Post called a “sham,” “diluted snake oil” and “an insult to voters.”
Missing from this legislative act of smoke and mirrors were things such as restrictions on lavish gifts and free trips from lobbyists and any increase in transparency on donations made by those trying to curry favor with people in Congress.
The following eight Democrats voted with the majority:

- Dan Boren (OK
- Leonard Boswell (IA)
- Henry Cuellar (TX)
- Jim Marshall (GA)
- Jim Matheson (UT)
- Charlie Melancon (GA)
- Gene Taylor (MS)

Corrupted Government
Its more then an insult to us voters it is our democratic that are trying to get a foot hold back into are Government and 8 Demo. Representative just showed the people why they should be kicked out. Nancy has also showed me that her big mouth doesn’t make her a leader, just part of bad Government.
That more I see that our Democracy is being taken away, the more I feel that we should be voting for people who are not part of a corrupt Government. Believe me, our Government is so corrupt that it is just about un-repairable.
Nancy Pelosi
I resent old Geesers remarks about Rep. Nancy Pelosi. She is a great liberal Democrat doing her best trying to fight for the people when we are in the minority and the Nazi Repugs take control and wont even let Dems vote on some bills . By holding secret votes in the middle of the nite without even Democrat unless they are a traitor lieberman As kisser.

Nancy wanted to be minority leader, and said a lot thing to that effect; she has been long on talk but short on results. If she would have done her home work the Ethics vote may have been different, it look like the Republican Whip got to her people first! Like I said long on talk, but she does not know how to snap the whip! With the houses approval rating below 35% is not just Republicans its all of them. And as for Lieberman he would kiss a money ass for the Republican vote, because the Democrats have wrote him off.
