Filibuster?A filibuster of the Alito nomination would be interesting. One seldom sees anyone not answer questions so adroitly, except for the white collar criminal class. However, I would rather see Kerry, Wes Clark, Joe Biden, and Edwards ruckus over the tunnels into America from Canada and Mexico, and ruckus with the Prez over just HOW safe is he keeping the country? One doesn't have to malign the desparate people trying to get here, but one could certainly ruckus the Prez of the USA and the Mexican and Canadian governments. They are neutral countries, and seemingly have very open immigration policies. Mexican Army incursions into this country? My, the Prez and the Republican controlled congress are certainly safeguarding us.......aren't they? Kath

Make that desperate, sorry for the spelling. Kath
If you think
If you think that things are bad now, and they certainly are, just wait until Alito is the swing vote on the court. Believing in the unitary presidency will mean that bush will have a rubber stamp to do what ever enters his booze soaked mind. There is a reason that all the "right to life" orgs are cheering Alito's confirmation.
