Bush Drags GOP Down to DefeatRepublicans lost badly in Virginia and New Jersey, despite vicious and expensive campaigns, in part because the leader of their party, George Bush, is so widely despised by voters. Republicans in Congress must now worry about losing control of the Senate and the House just one year from now. One way they could save themselves would be to impeach George Bush and Dick Cheney, just as they impeached Bill Clinton in 1998. Will they throw Bush and Cheney under the bus? Stay tuned!!

Y'all, I think we're fixin'
Y'all, I think we're fixin' to have us a "Mandate".
Yup
I just checked out the election results in my town... which has historically had an entirely republican supervisor and board. We had only 2 democrats running... one for town justice and one for council member... and each got about 35% of the vote... not too bad considering what their up against....
so I checked out the country report for the 2004 election and ... surprise... across this heavily republican upstate NY county.... the presidential election was about 51% Bush Cheney and 49% Kerry/ Edwards.... If that was the case in this republican enclave last year... I think in 2006, the scales will tip heavily in the democrats favor.
Things are going well
but as long as Limpballs, Faux News, control the talking points, we need to keep screaming. Note that the Repugs were quick to respond that this did not portend anything. And, to some extent, some of these victories don't have the importance that we would like read into them.
But if you look at the local victories like in Dover, and Arnulds big loss in California, the Repugs are definately in trouble.
I just wish I could figure out what do do in places like Kansas. These people are incapable of living in the real world. I just can't figure out if they really are that stupid.

OHIO needs alot of help also!!!
Send them to Iraq
A good way to wake up Repukicans in Kansas is to send them to Iraq un-armed. These arm-chair warriors make me sick. They feel all cozy and safe with their loud mouths in the middle of the country protected by the blue states at the shores. Maybe if they suffer more of the hardships from these Repukican governments, maybe that will do it. Apparently, they haven't suffered enough yet. Easily remedied in this world.
Oops!!!
Well, Bush is spending money future generations haven't even earned. I guess he spent the same way when he set out to spend his "political capital". He just couldnt stop with what he had in the bank. He had to roll up a tab, too.

A "duh" observation if there ever was one. I mean, here you have a population that holds ALL politicians in low esteem. Bush is a politician from a leading political family. Why should it take THIS much revelation to simply consign him to the reputation that politicians in general have? Truly a sad statement of the education and awareness in the USA.
