Do you think that Senator Doctor Frist could be guilty of the malpractice that he performed in the Schiavo case? He who pretends to be an "expert" mislead many people into believing that Terri Schiavo was still cognitive. He never saw her in person or examined her. I will bet that his neuropathology course at Harvard Medical School taught him that the human brain weighs more than 615 grams. He didn't make any judgment to help anyone. He only inflicted pain and suffering on us all. Even if none of us could have known the exact weight of the brain until the autopsy,the prior scans which were online showed the atrophy. Dr. Senator Frist,I think that you should remember your Hippocratic oath and what we learned in clinical diagnosis. Nothing replaces a good clinical history and physical examination. Shame on you! If your politicking is as bad as your diagnostic skills are in the case, I feel sorry for the Senate. By the way, locking us out of rooms will not stop us, it will only re-energize us and make us more strong in our convictions. You wouldn't lock us out if you weren't afraid of the truth.

They would be better called "Compassionate Abusers" and "the Culture Zygotic Tissue Rights". False, deceptive concepts which represent aspects of a real threat to our way of life.

Culture of Life (including culture in a fertility test-tube). Just a God fearing notion that... barring holy revelation to the contrary even microscopic clumps of cells are magically invested with a sacred new human soul created by none other than God himself and therefore must command the respect demanded by any independently living person, especially including all civil rights and legal protections. Of course, not all such tiny clumps of human cells deserves such worship. Only the product of the union of a human egg and sperm cell deserves such reverance. They certainly don't care about individual sperm cells (even millions of the poor little things); indeed, they probably associate them with (icky, nasty) "Sin". Individual egg cells are probably considered more worthy (probably due to the relative scarcity, you know, one egg cell per zillion sperm cells). We all recognize the hypochrisy involved in the fact that most of their concern stops just as suddenly as childbirth occurs (and then even minimal potential compassion depends (probably on color and) on identical religious beliefs).

As for "Compassionate" Conservatism, it's just code-speak for the concerted effort to force everyone in society to abide by their religious rules. If you do (obey), while they won't treat you compassionately, at least they're less likely to send you to an attitude "retraining" forced labor camp/Christian retreat (that is, once they've consolidated their control over the government). Meanwhile, they satisfy their need for control by theocratic legislation involving everything from education to whether or not you can choose to have your body terminated after your brain dies. This is a corruption of our time honored freedoms and liberties, and without powerful, organized resistance, it will continue to (fester and) grow.

Beware, God is coming (at least a group of determined, deluded people, who've been misled by false Religious Right leaders, who in the fashion of an anti-Christ claim to represent Christ/Christianity, are seeking absolute "Dominion")(ps. be sure to google "dominionism" if you haven't already).
