Bush Was Wired for NATO Press Conference
As NASA scientist Robert Nelson proved last fall, George W. Bush relied on a wireless earpiece in all three of his debates with John Kerry during the 2004 campaign. While bloggers (including Democrats.com, IsBushWired.com, MysteryBulge, Cryptome, and BushBulge.com) have accumulated overwhelming evidence that Bush was wired, the mainstream media has consistently refused to report on any of this evidence. Investigative reporter David Lindorff has written extensively on Bush's earpiece in Salon.com, MotherJones.com, and Counterpunch.org. On February 3, Lindorff broke new ground with an expose for Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (fair.org) reporting that the NY Times had a solid story ready for publication a week before Election Day - but editors killed the story.
After the Times killed its story, the Washington Post quickly followed suit:
The key evidence presented by Robert Nelson was his enhanced photos of the bulge in Bush's back, which was attached to a wire that ran along Bush's shoulder blade towards his wired ear. The photos which revealed Bush's bulge were partly an accident - Bush's debate lawyers had insisted on a rule preventing candidates from being photographed from behind. But when this rule leaked to the public, the networks decided to defy the rule. In addition, some key photos were taken while Bush lingered to shake hands on stage. At today's NATO press conference, there was little chance for another "camera malfunction." Bush walked quickly in and out of the press conference, and all three cable networks relied on a single camera that was placed in front of Bush. Bush was also careful to stand square to the podium, never turning his shoulder to provide a revealing side shot. But Bush's obvious reliance on his earpiece could be easily detected from the manner in which he delivered his answers. There are several speaking tics that expose Bush when he is using his earpiece. First, he pauses between sentences for an extra beat, which buys him time to hear the answer he is being fed. Second, when a particular answer is different from his own train of thought, his gaze drops down as he concentrates extra hard on the voice within his ear. Third, he sometimes mumbles and speaks gibberish when his brain and tongue get out of synch. Finally his answers ramble on, going from one stray thought to another, as he "filibusters" to consume all available time. These "delivery" issues have received less attention from bloggers than the photographic evidence. But they deserve far more attention now, because the White House is obviously determined to prevent cameras from revealing any more bulges. Thanks to TIVO and video blogging, Bush's rare public appearances can now be shared over the Internet and put under close "linguistic" scrutiny. James Poling was shocked when he caught Bush in the act on 12/20/04:
I challenge the blogosphere to look for similar telltale video moments - as well as knowledgable linguistic experts - to prove that Bush relies on his earpiece for nearly every public event.

I would also challenge tech g
I would also challenge tech geeks to find ways to tap into the comunications to find who is feeding the answers. Could prove that Rove really is Bush's brain.
Oh, one can only imagine of
Oh, one can only imagine of more creative alternatives than to just "tap into".........
something like this, maybe

Bill Clinton never had to hav
Bill Clinton never had to have his responses wired to him before he responded to a question...Bush is totally off the ball.....
Are you sure this wasn't so h
Are you sure this wasn't so he could hear any translations?

Maybe he was trying to stifle a belch?? In any event it did look odd and out of sync...
Is he on Evita's rainbow tour?
I was wondering if George Bush thinks that he is Evita. She went on the rainbow tour and he is on his charm tour. What a sad commentary about the state of things.
What woulld be funny... if so
What woulld be funny... if someone could tap into it and feed him different answers.... Or cutting him of would be about just as good

re: What would be funny...if so
I've fantasized about someone doing just that. Actually I imagined (ala I Love Lucy) that someone grabs the guy on the other end of that wire feeding bush the responses, and takes his place and makes bush give more honest responses like "Yes, I AM a crook. I've lied to the American people about just about everything. I stole both elections. Please impeach me now."
Then we see the major news networks cutting off their feeds saying they are having technical difficulties...
Thank God Bush is wired; maybe he'll embarass us less that way
Think about it. Would you really want George W. working without a net before the rest of the world? We've been embarassed enough by this totally incompetent administration.
Don't worry about the bulge on Bush's back; it's the bulge between his ears that's causing all the trouble.
Never ever concede to fraud.<\>
If Bush wasn't wired he would
If Bush wasn't wired he wouldn't still be in the white house

Bush was going to "win" the White House no matter what...
The dice were loaded, the cards were stacked, the fix was in. There was no way that the Republican fixers were going to let the American people actually chose who they wanted for president. And until we learn that, the Democrats will never ever win another presidential election. Unless the electronic voting machines and the Republican strong arm tactics are not eliminated from the election process, no amount of successful debating (Kerry won all three), campaigning, or fundraising is going to yield a positive result.
The Republicans learned in November of 2004 that they can do absolutely anything they want during an election and the media will turn a blind eye, and the Democratic leadership will roll right over.
So we might as well let Bush be wired so at least he doesn't embarass us any more than he already does. I can only assume that the political operative on the other end of his wire has some degree of intelligence. Which is better than nothing.
Never ever concede to fraud.<\>
Hmmm.
I wonder if Dr. Nelson's report had anything to do with this article at SpaceNews:
He just happens to be the New Millennium Program Lead Scientist.
on Bush and auditory attending
I have observed GWB during press conferences and seen him attend to his auditory sense first when asked a question. This is unusual. If you ask someone a difficult question, you will usually see them "look" for the answer, either inside their heads (an internal focusing) or in the space around them. The slight shift of the head to the side that he does is a search for an answer he has heard, or is hearing.
In the video clip referenced above, he drops his head to hear something. There is a slight turning of the head away from the right ear--it is very slight.
When he straightens up and turns his head you can see something in his right ear. While dining with a friend last week, he mentioned a new toy he had bought last summer--an ear mold that is molded to one's own ear canal and that is a receiver.
http://www.ultimateears.com/UE-5_Ambient.htm
This is all highly speculative on my part, but it jives with everything I have observed. In other words, it would not surprise me to find out that the President is receiving the answers to questions asked through a personalized receiving system.
I also believe it is possible that, on the night of the first debate, the receiver did not work. That would explain the panic and hypervigilance he got into while he attempted to answer questions he was not prepared to answer. He was a man in full fight-or-flight response mode.
i can almost make it out...
it seems to me, after looping it about 50 times, he says, "get open..[..]" And it struck me that it sounds a lot like "get open Dick." It's definitely four syllables. Loop it and hear for yourself. Would make sense. It's like he catches himself in the "dick" part and pops back to prime time. Definitely shady. You can hear some after-chuckle amongst some of the reporters. Too bad they have no spine to go after the wire down his.
Bush said at NATO: "a little bit..."
When George Bush ducked his head and muttered while addressing NATO he said very softly "a little bit". I have no idea what this means, but I'm 99% sure that's what he said. 99% instead of 100 because it pays never to be too sure of anything :)
I extracted only the relevant portion of the CSPAN video, converted it to a .wav file, then enhanced the audio and cranked up the volume. Actually, you can tell he said "a little bit" before the enhancement, but it was even more clear afterwards. It's necessary to isolate the soft whisper from the rest of the CSPAN clip because the difference in volume is so large. Unfortunately I had never used this audio tool before and it turned out to be a demo which wouldn't allow me to save the enhanced audio.
I'm sure there's plenty of savvy sound engineers out there with real software tools that can do the same thing. If anyone is interested I'll post the unenhanced audio file...
CNN Cover Up
Bush audio prompts had been picked up before on CNN and Fox etc. during a foreign press conference. This has never been mentioned or used by CNN. You could hear someone give him phrases or prompts which Bush would work into answers. Something must have gone wrong with the radio frequency that day. I was hoping someone would bring a radio scanner into or near the debates where Bush had agreed to no prompting devices. Radio prompting articles.
