John McCain, President Bush, and the Republican Party
Are we all forgetting that when John McCain was in the run for the Republican Nomination and Hillary and Barack were competing against each other for the Democratic Nomination, Mr. McCain labeled Mr. Obama as a dreamer for taking on the slogan "Change"?
Then when it was proven that we Americans wanted change in the way our government was being run, how quick Mr. McCain was to take on the "Change" policies more so since the economy has gotten as bad as it has.
Funny isn't that the Republican politicians only got on Mr. Obama's bandwagon for change when it was proven that that was what the American people (Republicans, Democrats, and Independants) started supporting Mr. Obama's policies and ideas.
Mr. McCain stood there in front of the American people when the economy started going bad and said there was nothing wrong with our economy right along with President Bush, it was Mr. Obama and the democrats that said the economy was in poor shape, and look where we are now; banks on the verge of going bankrupt, more and more people losing their houses to foreclosure, and the Dow Jones has lost trillions of dollars in just the past three weeks (738 points last night alone).
And the final issue I would like to make is this, under the Bush administration we have lost more jobs through outsourcing to other countries and large corporations moving their operations out of the country to where one who makes $3000 to 4000 per month would now be at or just above the Federal poverty level for a famly of two, compared to 10 years ago when that much money would put a family of 4 in the lower to middle income level.
As a result more Americans have left the country in the last four years under the Bush Administration to live where their money is worth more (I have moved [without giving up my citizenship] to the Philippines where my 3600 dollars is worth more in Philippine currency than the President of this country makes) until I see a democratic president in office AND a marked improvement in the economy.

Republican's defeated one
Republican's defeated one other american party in the 1800's? The federalist party? They did it by adopting that party's platform. The Republican always promise and deliver... To other republicans.
On outsourcing... They should be tried for treason, no matter what affiliation. I still look to see where things are produced and try to buy american.
