Campaign built on lies
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5mdIPNB8t8 Watching this youtube clip is really disturbing. For the first time in 8 years the Republicans are going to get what they deserve. I have seen the most vile behavior from that camp for the last eight years, in so much that I have lost relationships with family and friendships over discussing politics. Republicans at times can be very hateful, demeaning and have no compunction when it comes to stealing signs or the election for that matter and then act like it never happened. They continually infringe on the rights of other Americans that have the right to vote for who they choose, the right to speak their minds out because last I check we are still a democracy aren't we?. I am sure there are Democrats that can be equally abrasive, but I see the majority of bad behavior coming from the Republicans that want to force their way of thinking on you, and don't care if you have an opinion or feel if you are Democrat that you are not entitled to one and that is evident by the way the last two elections were stolen. It is a shame that our country has become the laughing stock of the world especially in this day and age. . The Republicans have the nerve to blame the current economic crisis on the Democrats while they continually send emails around the country towards that end. Sorry that tactic won't work either. I don't care what majority is in Congress, there is no possible way to repair the damage created by the likes of Karl Rove and Dick Cheney. But, more importantly this video is disturbing. The eyes of our children and grandchildren are upon us and the example the Republican Presidential ticket is projecting is horrifying. We can not allow this country to go back in time for too many lives were lost to preserve this now broken democracy. We can't afford riots today. We as a nation are in enough crisis and we certainly don't need to have our children witness what we baby boomers witnessed in the sixties. Stick to the issues Senator McCain, Senator Obama is not a Muslim, nor is he a terrorist or does he have ties to terrorists and you know it. I am sure his grandfather, a while man, that fought in WII would be disappointed in you. Obama's mother who was color blind and white would not have much regard for you either. From everything I saw and read regarding Senator Obama, he was raise by fine people. As far as belonging to a church that had a radical minister, I believe we can't control how another person feels on certain issues and I am sure the good Rev. Wright had more tempered sermons on other occasions. So Senator McCain, not all the people buy that garbage about Obama. He is smart, articulate and brings with fresh ideas. It took me a while to get used to writing 2000 on my checks, I am sure this country will get used to having a black President. The American people are sick and tired of smear campaigns. Look what Bush did to you Senator McCain when you ran for office. They made you out to be a criminal and trader and the Republicans bought it hook, line and sinker, as well as some independents. But, now, that party embraces you? We Americans have been raped and we can't even file a complaint to get restitution. We were forced to sit back and see this beautiful nation of ours ravaged day after day. Now is the time for this great nation of ours to come together and work for the common good. Not for just the privileged and not for the entitled. We need to stop looking at our neighbors and judging them. Because a person is a Democrat does not mean they are lazy and have their hands out looking for something for nothing. There are many wealthy Democrats. It takes all kinds to make a world as it takes all kinds to make a party. Senator McCain, I beg to differ with your constituents, I believe you are closer to a terrorist than Barack Obama. Perhaps that comes from being a prisoner of war and I am truly sorry for what you had to endure, but you should really keep your anger in check, especially when you want people to vote for the man that will be responsible for putting his finger on the button. I believe come November 4, 2008 the American people will stand up as they have been standing up for over 200 years and speak loud and clear. They want what is good for America as a whole not just for themselves but for generations to come. We can't leave a legacy to our children and grandchildren that reads we did not care about the future generations to come and deny them what we were able to enjoy. That which was so richly served up by our forefathers. Cathy Nochella
