Failed Bailout

Did you see all the little piggies on the house floor after the vote, sweating bullets and snivelin' cuz their fat stock portfolios are fixin' to go down the tube.....I love it!!!

Thing is it'll probably still pass, cuz the only reason the house reps voted no was to give johnny McMoron a chance to ride in on his white horse, kick some ass, take some names and save the day.

And unfortunately, with almost half of this country being uninformed morons watching Fox news, ready to elect him already, we might still be in some deep shit!

Jeese....president Palin??!!!! I went down and got a passport today, just in case:-)

Huh???

"Thank's to progressive democrats?????"
I'm not sure I'm reading you correctly. Are you blaming democrats for the failed bill????
The house republicans voted the bill down, not the democrats.
"Gains since Bush took office????"
Thanks to Bushonomics, we now have a 9.8 trillion deficit.
What planet are you living on??????

Trillions

-Trillions uncollected in taxes from our Aristocracy.

-A near trillion to be spent in Iraq (instead of going after those who attacked us in Afghanistan).

-Half a trillion dollars lost to increased gas prices each new year of Republican reign.

And folks are panicked over not IMMEDIATELY rolling over and playing dead?

I understand the fear. This sucks royally, but we are poised to be really screwed. We had better get tough fast.

THIS BAILOUT NEEDS TO BE PAID FOR BY SOMEONE OTHER THAN THE BOTTOM 90%.

Jim

Ya know Jim, when you stand

Ya know Jim, when you stand far enough back to see the really big picture, there is some delicious irony here.

The Republican Party is refusing to approve a $700B taxpayer credit card request by their own Republican president, which he in turn would use to pay against a $1.5T taxpayer credit card account, which was maxed out by the Republican Party. The actual holder of the credit card, the taxpayer, has never used the card, nor signed one receipt for this account.

In my middle-class world, this is called identity theft, and fraud. In the Republicans' have-mores, other-world, it is oxymoronically called "free market enterprise enhancement."

The neoconservative corporate pimps giveth, and the neoconservative corporate whores taketh away. Move along people -- nothing to see here.

lol!

You know what screwed them? I think it was the term "bailout". They need to wrap this one differently then anyone not voting for it would be a Terrorist.
