Hello from Asher Heimermann

My name is Asher Heimermann from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. I am 14 years of age and this is my fouth year involved in politics and government. I have submitted countless letters to political and government leaders as well as international leaders. I've been volunteering for Senator Barack Obama since June, 2007. Recently, I reached my fundraising goal of $3,000 for Senator Obama.

I have decided to get involved for multiple reasons, the primary reason being today a lot political views of the youth are not heard and I feel it is an important to make a difference.

Thank God for young people like you who are willing to fight for your future and the future of America. If people keep turning a blind eye to what Cheney & Bush are doing to our "Bill of rights" and constitution, we will lose it. We are close now. When they have to "fix" the voting machines in Ohio to win and we do nothing about it, I guess we get what we deserve. This year will be different..We have an intelligent and visionary candidate. If Americans do not allow themselves to FEAR AGAIN, we will make it.
