Warrantless Wiretapping Vote

I contacted Joe Courtney's office this morning, urging him to vote NO on the Warrantless Wiretapping Vote scheduled for today.  I also sent an email through his contact site, I hope you will do the same!

CA - Eshoo

Eshoo still evaluating bill at 10:30 AM day of vote. Staff person did not recognize my town as being in her district and said she represented Northern CA when it is Central CA. Seems to be less than par.

Warrentless Wiretapping Vote

I e-mailed Joe Courtney on Thursday night urging that he vote No on the FISA overhaul.

I am incensed that the House leadership doesn't have the guts to stand up to the Bush cohort and that so many of the rank and file Dems let their wrong-headed leadership push them around. Everyone in the House and Senate who has taken possession of the Iraq war, by voting to continue funding it, deserves to be unseated at the earliest opportunity.

Wait a minute, didn't we try that in 2006?
