It's easy to see why Rep. Pelosi wanted someone other than Mr. Hoyer to be the Dem. whip.  As he  obviously already has been whipped.  I think he should go hunting with Mr. Cheney and marry Lorrena Bobbitt.  He's obviously already missing part of his anotomy down there, might as well finish it off.  Is it K. street, across the aisle deals, pacifism, a nonconfrontational attitude, puisilany, or just being wimps.  Tell the truth and stand up for the American people already.  How can 98% of the people be against funding the war yet it still goes on.  I hope things will change drastically after the landslide victory of Obama.

I called Mr. Hoyer's office and his voicemail was full, so I e-mailed him from his House webpage. I also contacted Ms. Pelosi via e-mail (her voicemail was also full). I e-mailed Sen. Boxer as I am sure the bill is going to the Senate. Just for fun I typed up letters explaining why I could not support the DNC or the DCCC; enumerating collusion with the Bush junta, putting us into a war I knew was illegal, continuing to fund the war and collusion again with the Bush junta on once again battering our Constitution with this wiretapping law. Since they had sent reply envelopes for contributions, I had no trouble putting my letter in one their reply envelopes and putting it in the mail!

I called my Sen. C. McCaskill, Sen. K. Bond, & Rep R. Carnahan
on 06/20/08 about this issue and informed them of my demand for them to
vote on the issue as outlined on this site.

We lost the vote but I tried!
