Thanks Karin. It's ironic

Thanks Karin. It's ironic that you will find only a very few "leaders," and politicians lying in these fields of the ultimate sacrifice.

That's very true, Bill.

California alone has lost nearly 500 men and women in the
wars in Afganistan and Iraq.

There is not one politician in the group.

What about the veterans that are like "Dead Man Walking"?

Too many have died, many more will die. But on this Memorial Day, we must also remember those that still walk around with the scars of war on their bodies and minds. The government prefers to forget them, but we as Americans cannot. So when citizens attend their picnics, parades, and visit their relatives on the holiday...I hope that they remember the true meaning of why the holiday was created. To honor all those that served and gave their lives for this great country of ours. They died and fought for our freedoms...we, as Americans, need to thank these men/women on this day. And every day!

Absolutely, Patty! ( Action link to GI Bill)

Many of our troops are forgotten once they return home.
They bring back physical and psychological disabilities from
battle. They deserve much better- look what they gave us.

Please click on the link to read about the new GI Bill that is
up for vote. Unbelievably, McCain, a former POW, will NOT support it!

Here is the direct action link,

Thank you in advance for your support!

McCain's Achilles Heel

I've been doing alot of research on McCain. Have you checked out the conservative website: www.vietnamveteransagainstmccain ? These are other Nam veterans who have things to say to this so called "Maverick".

Also have you taken the challenge? www.Bush-McCainChallenge. It proves how much these two are alike/disimilar. Try it.

Correction:

I think you mean: http://www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnmccain.com/

The other link does not exist.

My Bad

You are correct! I'm not very good at this computer stuff, yet. Sorry about the incorrect link. Yours will get the readers to the site!
The second link should be www.Bush-McCainChallenge.com. I think this will get people to the challenge. Forgive my computer stupidity!!!

Down In South Georgia

We have an amazing new candidate running against a 16yr conservative incumbent who happened to be one of the few that voted against the new GI Bill. If you get a chance, check out Bill Gillespie at www.billforgeorgia.com
He is a veteran himself and not one that turns his back on vets like McCain.
