Bush has done more harm to

Bush has done more harm to this country and the world than anyone thought possible. A complicit Congress and dumbed down public are equally to blame.
Cheney and his minions make massive mayhem a household word(s)...

Hair Brain McCain

Your absolutely right. However, those who voted for him are getting the government they deserve. Well, Bush and Cheney go about doing as they want, Congress sits on their hands and does nothing. Don't be supprised if John, Hair Brain McCain gets elected President. I don't think the American People are smart enough to determine that he's just another Bush but in another suit. When it comes to Iraq, he says, "you aint seen nothing yet". Well, if he becomes President, the people in this country aint seen nothing yet.

10 things to Know about McCain

Subject: Fw: 10 things to know about McCain

Also, we should not forget the Keating 5, that venture McCain was involved in cost the taxpayers over 200M dollars....there is so much more and we as Democrats do need to throw every single thing he did that was not in the best interest of our country, he is a greedy warmonger......

For all the coverage this week of Senator John McCain's background, there
are some important things you won't learn about him from the TV networks.
His carefully crafted positive image relies on people not knowing this
stuff--and you might be surprised by some of it.

Please check out the list below, and then forward it to your friends,
family, and coworkers. We can't rely on the media to tell folks about the
real John McCain--but if we all pass this along, we can reach as many
people as CNN Headline News does on a good night.

Go here to tell us how many people you can pass it on to--and to see
our progress nationally:

10 things you should know about John McCain (but probably don't):

1. John McCain voted against establishing a national holiday in honor of
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Now he says his position has "evolved," yet
he's continued to oppose key civil rights laws.1

2. According to Bloomberg News, McCain is more hawkish than Bush on Iraq,
Russia and China. Conservative columnist Pat Buchanan says McCain "will
make Cheney look like Gandhi."2

3. His reputation is built on his opposition to torture, but McCain voted
against a bill to ban waterboarding, and then applauded President Bush for
vetoing that ban.3

4. McCain opposes a woman's right to choose. He said, "I do not support
Roe versus Wade. It should be overturned."4

5. The Children's Defense Fund rated McCain as the worst senator in
Congress for children. He voted against the children's health care bill
last year, then defended Bush's veto of the bill.5

6. He's one of the richest people in a Senate filled with millionaires.
The Associated Press reports he and his wife own at least eight homes! Yet
McCain says the solution to the housing crisis is for people facing
foreclosure to get a "second job" and skip their vacations.6
7. Many of McCain's fellow Republican senators say he's too reckless to be
commander in chief. One Republican senator said: "The thought of his being
president sends a cold chill down my spine. He's erratic. He's hotheaded.
He loses his temper and he worries me."7

8. McCain talks a lot about taking on special interests, but his campaign
manager and top advisers are actually lobbyists. The government watchdog
group Public Citizen says McCain has 59 lobbyists raising money for his
campaign, more than any of the other presidential candidates.8

9. McCain has sought closer ties to the extreme religious right in recent
years. The pastor McCain calls his "spiritual guide," Rod Parsley,
believes America's founding mission is to destroy Islam, which he calls a
"false religion." McCain sought the political support of right-wing
preacher John Hagee, who believes Hurricane Katrina was God's punishment
for gay rights and called the Catholic Church "the Antichrist" and a
"false cult."9

10. He positions himself as pro-environment, but he scored a 0--yes,
zero--from the League of Conservation Voters last year.10

John McCain is not who the Washington press corps make him out to be.

And his status as 'natural-born' citizen

is a question yet to be resolved.

According to that article, until the question is answered it would make him unqualified for the position of CIC, or for the presidency for that matter - because any member of the armed services or any taxpayer for that matter, would have standing to sue the government for grievance.

John McCain

Thanks a lot for this as our esteemed news reporter cannot seem to find anything out about John McCain. I will send this to some sources that can get the information out to people who are unsure as to who Mr. McCain actually is.

To be honest with you, I am tired of all of them. We should just fire the lot of them and replace them with everyday working people. No attorney, no millionaires...just everyday working people.

Thanks again.

I'm a member of Move-On, too. I received this same E-Mail concerning McSame. The content reveals he is an elitist, war-mongering, sexist, for the wealthy, non-support the troops, environmently ignorant, uninformed panderer. When he addresses town halls with his famous "My Friends", I become ill. He needs to select Democratic traitor Lieberman as his running mate. Lieberman can advise him on his prevalent gaffs such as Al Quaeda is Shite, and Iran(Shite)is backing Al Quaeda(Sunni). This man would make Bush seem intelligent.

If you remember the crooked politics in Florida Gore did win the popular vote. 1. We need to get rid of the electoral college. It is no longer needed. It was needed in frontier days to give sparsely populated states more clout, and that is not the case in modern times.
2. We need to scrutinize voting corruption in Florida, as well as in other states. I do agree, however, that Americans have become like sheep accepting anything that comes without questions. That is disturbing, but yet local politicians choose to protect their interests and the true majority be damned.

Bush is the grandson of Aleister Crowley

For those of you who do not know that GWB is the grandson of Aleister Crowley, 666, sexual deviate, sex magician, the most evil man in the world, the beast, baphomet, goat man, deported from Abbey of Thelema, Cefalu, Sicily by Mussolini in 1924 for sacrificing children and animals for demonic power. Google Barbara Bush Aleister Crowley to learn that Pauline Pierce, Barb's mother, a 7th degree OTO, and Nell, her friend, worked as sex assistants for Crowley's sex magick show in Paris and other European cities, returned to U.S. in Oct. 1924, Barb was born in June 1925.

Barb's mother and Prescott Bush arranged GHWB & Barbara's marriage. One witch to another witch.

Do not insult witches so..........

I do not speak for the whole pagan community, as we are very diverse, but not a single one of us would claim the bush family.

I can't see a bush involved with paganism. We tend to be educated, creative, thoughtful, concerned about the planet and its people and non violent. In general they would not be welcome, although some people in our communities might even be happy if they would show up to a ritual, it would be an unique opportunity to expand their world view, maybe encourage a bit of humanity in their soul.

We are all have grandparents, but that isn't what makes you who you are. Your actions make you who you are. Aleister Crowley was not the most evil man in the world, for starters we have George Bush and George Bush, Dick Chenney, Hitler, Charles Manson and many more. Aleister Crowley, might have had some interesting personal tastes (not to different from your average republican) but he never spied on millions of people, or tortured people in the name of freedom, or fail to serve and protect the poor of this country when their levies failed.

666 is a biblical thing, actually its a poor translation, the correct number is 616. The horned god is not the devil. These are common mistakes, usually made by someone who is trying to make a different world view fit into the structure of another faith. Paganism mean people of the land. Wicca means people of the wise. We are not Christian so it is unfair to view my faith through your constructs.

I have never heard our current president say he did anything because of a pagan influence, granted his English is so poor he could be saying anything. But I have heard him praise God, and asked for God's blessings. I think he feels he has the support of the Christian God, as he surely has the support of many Christian organizations. If we must tie a faith to his actions, I am afraid we must assume it is Christianity not paganism. It is not the first, or most likely the last time faith was used for political reasons. It is sad, for I do not believe that most Christians would support torture. At least this is my hope, because this pagan has Christian grandparents, and a largely Christian family, I would like to think they are not filled with such hatred.

The main theme of paganism is: do what you will, unless it causes harm. When is the last time a bush took an action that didn't cause harm. If he is a pagan, he is a piss poor one, and in a group all by himself, as we do not want him, and the Goddess doesn't love him, as he cares not for this planet or its children.

do not insult witches so

I agree with everything you say, wheredidmycountrygo, except when you say the Goddess does not love Bush. I think the Goddess loves everyone. What is more obvious is that Bush does not love Goddess, to his eternal loss.

True, She has more

True, She has more compassion then I do. I have a hard time loving those who strive to harm me, maybe some day I will grow to that point. I try to find the sacred in everyone, I am afraid that when it comes to Bush and Chenney I am unable, try as I might.

Religion and Human Nature

Well said, wheredidmycountrygo. Having been raised a Christian, then becoming a Wiccan, I have a fairly good understanding of both religions. In truth, both Christianity and Wicca are peace-loving belief systems, but, as with most, if not all religions, there are a few people that attempt to derive power from the beliefs of others. True Christians strive to live their lives as Jesus Christ would. They ask themselves in every situation, "What Would Jesus Do?" Jesus would NEVER have gone to war, either to fight terrorism, or just to drive up the price of oil to increase His profit. In most, if not all, Christian churches, Bush's actions would most likely be considered blasphemous. They are most certainly not in line with ANY teachings of Christianity or Wicca, so I feel it is best not to shame any religion by connecting such a person to those who would strive to be better people through the developement of a spiritual connection with the people and the world around them.

Exactly my point

I was raised a baptist and although baptised because the faith of Christ and John is Baptist, as I grew older with the faith I found, that the world is better off with a personal relationship with God, since He is the one who will judge our actions accordingly. I have also found, with poverty so widespread in our urban communities, sometimes hard choices had to be made, on whether to barely feed and clothe the ones you have and add another eighteen years or so of hardship, because you like the sound of their cooing, is selfish and truly stupid to risk having your children taken from you later, for a decision that could have been avoided sooner. There are herbs that promote spontaneous abortion and cell destruction, that have been around for thousands of years.
So, you don't have to go to a doctor, too much caffein, can bring on miscarriage.
That said, I became more spiritual and in touch with my inner voice that God has given us all. I am a Spiritual Baptist, that does not live to harm others, however, won't tolerate or turn the other cheek to those who bring harm on me or mine. I don't do it and I won't accept others who have that evil malice, to corrupt, or harm my family.

I can feel people out when around them by aura, and stay away from the black or gray aura people, they are the darkest.
Tai Chee and Yoga have allowed me to pray and exercise through mind and body.

I enjoy my religion of peace, and work hard in my community to bring about some open windows when doors are slammed firmly in my fellow human beings face. I offer whatever knowledge I have obtained to the poor free of charge, whenever their busy lives of ratrace for corporate quarterly bottom lines, bring them down. Sometimes you have to make sure you actually are doing God's work from the bottom up.

Wicca and Paganism

Thank you for your intelligent and heartfelt responce.I was raised in christian family and have found Goddess.Wicca is to me a naturebased expression of connecting to the spiritual within myself and the physical. This goes with my concern for all life and my pacifist nature. It is encouraging
to go on a website I respect and find people discussing distortions made by other people of paganism. In my learning of Goddess I was very, not good feelings when I read a small bit about Crowley. He to me does not relate to Goddess of my understanding. As far as Bush and Cheney I too know it is wrong to hate and I struggle with the anger and outrage I feel.To know they do terrible wrong and take action such as supporting impeachment helps. I have also found that my anger lessens when I accept that I really can't find much of the sacred in their actions.

We really don't need to give them fuel

It is hard enough getting the people of this country to be come Response-able...we really don't need to act like the "left wingnuts" many try to make us out to be.....let's use that brain for a minute.......
Not EVERYTHING on the internet is true and not EVERYTHING one reads is true....Granted there is a ton of great writing out there but there is a good deal of it that is just so much BS and we don't HAVE to be so gullible.
Granted, Georgie Boy is no great prize and I might have to think twice about whether or not he is the spawn of Ba'alzebub but for now....let' us not fall into that same hysteria the Dirty Tricks gamesters try to generate in the less than brilliant members of the right to control and manipulate them into marching to their drums of hate and fear-mongering...
Barbara Bush may BE an un reasonable, morally questionable shrew but the illegitimate grand daughter of the "evilest Man on earth" is a good stretch...When I see the DNA or the horns growing out of her head, I might believe it.
One really must use that editting function that humans are supposed to have that makes them "above the apes".
Remember, in 1925, people believed black blood was different than white blood; that the Canals on Mars were intelligently made water irrigation ditches and that the martians could even attack a small town in New jersey; jazz was the "devil's music"; And that the entire Universe was contained in this small galaxy called the Milky Way.

Babs doesn't need any genetic predisposition for the way she is, nor does baby Boy Georgie. Don't let them off the hook THAT easily. They just happen to be the way they are (petulent, small-minded, self-absorbed, inadequate personality disorders with little if any ability to have compassion for others) by personal choice....I think we are seeing only a classic case of nurture - a sociopathic, domineering mom creating her son to be just like her.....Bet her little man has made her so proud

That made me laugh

You give that stooge way too much credit. Seriously though I do believe he is related to Franklin Pierce though his mother.

More than *almost* anyone thought possible ...

Reagan and the first Bush also stuck our noses into the business of other countries, like Grenada and Nicaragua, for the benefit not of democracy, but of capitalism. Nixon did the same thing in Chile. Now that capitalism has been deregulated for nearly 30 years, we're seeing more and more of the fallout from it: more greed, less integrity, more inequality, and less democracy. We've seen plenty of what comes of conservatism and capitalism and how it digs a deeper and deeper hole for us, especially with extreme reactionarism. It's way past time to reverse the trend with liberalism (or accelerate the reversal with radicalism) and the restoration of socialist controls over the potentially (well, no longer "potentially") criminal system of capitalism.

OK, now before some of you start getting your panties in a knot over the S-word, let me remind you of two things about Social Security:
1) It's not an underarm deodorant or mouthwash;
2) You can't privatize it, no matter what anyone says, because it would then no longer be Social Security, but rather Capital Insecurity. (The public sector has an obligation to pay seniors. The private sector not only has no obligation, but Wall Street has neither the responsibility nor the integrity!)

Bush could not have done any better!

It seems to me that GW couldn't have done any better even if he tried to fuck our contry up! I have this vision of him standing over a big map of the USA with his pants down to his kness with that stupid smile of his and taking a big crap. He's an American Nightmare!

No Dummy Here!

I think that the American people are far from dumb but we are caught up in a sort of coup with Bush and Cheney who lined the justice department with their own cronies so that impeachment proceedings would not be a worry to them as they leave office, I want to know why when John Conyers has been calling for impeachment for years for these folks, especially at this point. The American people have called for what I think their immediate dismissal in 2006, in any other buesiness these two would have been fired long ago. Why is the constitution not being amended to cover the high crimes and misdeamenors that these two have committed. What I and many other Americans do not understand is why has there not been an outcry for reckoning with these two criminals as yet even after they leave office? Those in Congress who are supporting their trickery will be reckoned with also at the time when we throw the entire lot out of our capitol.

You are "right on" RGN!! Why

You are "right on" RGN!! Why he is still in office makes me sick! It is time for Congress to act and "Impeach Him!!"JTN

Bush gets away with Murder

For the life of me, I am constantly amazed that Bush gets away with bloody murder. Nixon got run out of office because he tried to cover up a half-ass burglary, yet Bush and Cheney have committed crimes a 1000 times worse, with the evidence out there for everyone to see. Bush is living proof that in the United States of America, you can graduate from college with a crappy GPA, go AWOL from the Air National Guard for over a year and get away with it, get busted for drunk driving, be CEO of a couple of energy corporations that could have given Ken Lay lessons in creative business practices, be a governor who continually makes fun of the executions that come across his desk, not be able to give a speech without destroying the English language, and still become leader of the free world! And if McCain becomes President, God help us all.

It was the same plan as the 70's

We stopped Nixon and Cheney then and We the People will stop them NOW!
What did you expect from the country's top oil families when they took office? Hello, these are the same people who supported Hitler in WWII, with Weapons for profit, regardless of who they kill, that stands in their way!
Facism isn't New, it's just a little more undercover and deadlier. Now they just geological survey of resources, and the next thing you know, "There's terrorist in them thar hills"

Bloody bloody hands of the Oil Company lobbyist, who care not a fig, for who's blood is shed to obtain, the "root of all evil" over the history of this country.

It's like having a Rat in charge of the Cheese factories around the world. Cheese is king, and so is Oil in these fiends minds.

God bless and keep, the resource countries around the world, who have the latest boon, to Wall Street.

Bush & Cheney

You are absolutely correct. Cheney has been in the Republicans ears since at least Reagan. I don't think Bush has a clue of what being President really is. He should have stayed Governor of Texas...He was promoted to incompetence!!

Tezas

He messed up there also. None of them have ever amounted to anything. Every kid is a convicted felon. None served in the military. They could now since they are giving military wavers to fealons. Even ole jeb's wife was convicted of smuggling.

Dick Cheney

Dick Cheney was part of the Nixon administation.

DUMB AND DUMBER

BUSH CHENEY I have alwayse considered the Bush Family, what we call in the south TRASH WITH MONEY. They did not earn it either. No one has done the damage to this country as these two ass wholes have, along with some of their buddies. Congress isn't helping nor people that sit back on their ass. A comment from Iraq, my Solier. They Talk the Talk, but they don't want to Walk the Walk. Send some of them over here for 6 wks, then see haw they love this war.

Enough Already

They went through the procedures of impeaching Clinton for someone performing oral sex on him. All pres do it and more. That did not have a thing to do with him overseeing the US. Stupid and jealous republicans.
Bush has done everything under the sun to embarrass us before the world and no impeachment. Why? What a shame.

Impeach him for God's sake.

And it should not stop there. He should not get a pension, or any of the fringe benefits after his leave of office.

I can answer the enough already

Its called the almighty $ - what Bush and many Christians really worship...Ever notice the fact that most of the big business assholes claim to be Christian??!! While some of their congregations pray for money for health care, do they sit and smirk??!! Perhaps it helps them sleep at night, knowing that while people like McCain have 8 houses and there are many living on the street, starving, or terrified that they will be next to join them?? I have a great idea- lets take 1/2 of their incomes and give it to those who need it!

Bush's war budget request

The bush/cheney/rove/norquist/et al regime has all but wrecked America both domestically and internationally throughout the whole world. This bush "idiot who would be king" has just come back from a very unsuccessful trip abroad, only to tout America's stiff resolve and relatively sound economy. The fool has played into every dream of bin Laden and any other foreign person desiring ill will against America. Osama's relatively small personal investments and unknown amount of sponsored financial support from many of our "allies" in the Middle East has directly led to America's coming multi-trillion dollar bankruptcy. At 56 yrs. of age, I now see a future that I had only dreamt of in nightmares, with increasing regularity ever since reagan wooed the masses. Now I'm not dreaming. We now live in what is a near fascist-corporate Orwellian fantasy. All good Americans are now prisoners of this shamefully illegal and unwarranted military action in Iraq. Not only presently living Americans, but countless future Americans of a dark future. The neo-cons and their fascilitators throughout congress and the senate have America's future over the barrel. It's hard to see how denying bush's military bill will bring the troops home, because he will use them as a ploy. He will let them rot over there and blame it on any and all who disagreed with his edicts. He is a world class war criminal, and America's worst president EVER. No one American has done so much, to so many, and for such terrible reasons, as this guy who has been illigimately placed in the seat of highest power, not once but twice. And to think that his appointments and machinations will haunt America for decades to come. Next attrocity will be the Nov. election, which I believe will be compromised again. As a true caring and loyal American, I urge any and all fellow citizens to vote for Barak. We need to have an overwhelming turnout, or it will be swung by the electronic machines again.
Thank you for reading this far. I've said my piece. May God save us all.
Peace

dumb Dizz

Dizz the sky is falling, all is lost the future is bleak and hormones drive your hysteria to new lows . Your glass is half-full filled with twisted facts, muddled mindlessness. There is no cure, no solutions no intelligence just the knee-jerk ramblings of a bankrupt morally compromised commie who has a very distorted view of a reality that only exist between your ears. What is (are) your solutions to the expoused problems comrade?
What socialistic future do you invisage that will save us all?
Is the idea of individualism a part of your philosophy or is control of the mass collective your poision? I think you like to make kool-aid, however I for one will not join your party: It sounds like the whinings of a hack-eyed rehashed Bolshivist

Man From Another World

Boy, all I can say is what world do you come from and what are you smoking. Get real a realize the facts not just you twisted opinions and name calling.

Dumb Dale

Dude, you are such a right wing tool. Go tell everyone how we must "fight them over there so they don't come here." How's your membership at the CFR treating you? Getting lots of perks and promises of wealth in the new world order? Funny that you mention the Socialistic future that you are working to achieve, was that on purpose or are you clueless? You mentioned twisted facts; I find it humorous how those that are the most demented will deny facts so vehemently. I found no factual inaccuracies in Dizz's comments, but your comments are just full of garbage. Keep tooling on; eventually no one will believe a single word of the crap you spew.

unkind dalehendon

Dear dalehendon,

Speaking of ramblings, I read your comment twice, but muddled, run-on sentences and odd references make it difficult to follow. I think you might benefit from a review of human biology. Generally speaking adults don't suffer from hormonal hysteria. Although, in your case the urge to derail people in a forum you have no intention of participating in an open and honest way, does indicate anger that could be better managed. You seem to be very creative, inventing whole new diseases, maybe art would be more beneficial to your personal development.

I hardly think that someone is morally bankrupt if they are concerned about the current economy. Or if they are upset about election fraud. I was born into a country where the right to vote and have that vote counted is one of the most important rights we have, and with out moving, this is no longer the case. I, and I believe many of my fellow Americans, feel it is reasonable to have a government with some kind of economic responsibility. Clearly you feel differently, I suspect you are on the receiving end of some government pork. Either that or you frequently throw away money for fun. The rest of us, however, are concerned.

I hear the feather rustlin of a.......CHICKEN HAWK

Let's see, head in the sand, sexism, and when all else fails....commie paintin'.....What lost Era are you from, dear sir, sounds vaguely like Spiro Agnew and I would swear you must be his incarnate.
Have you ever thought that the party might not want you if you DID try to join?
It doesn't hurt me a bit to have you on the other side of the fence and as far away from me as possible.
Neanderthals and dinosaurs and right winged chicken hawks need not apply
Some day reality might just sneak up on you and say boo. Your so tightly stuck in that tight cave of yours that you might just smash your head but then no great loss....there may be a gush of hot air belch from any crack that may occur.........certainly no brain tissue

How many libertarian presidents

have we had there, Dale? That's right.

You keep right on returning to your vomit and eating it again, we'll keep electing presidents.

Usama bin Forgotten

Lookie lookie who's got her panties in a bunch speaking of which

It's dalehendon, the knuckledragging redneck who just crawled out of a bottle of rotgut.

Allow me to reinterate DaleHendon

The American Dream (now broken by Bush and his commrads) is not a Kool-aid, it's a promise to work hard all your life and contribute in this United society of immigrants, with the promise and hope that fairness in wages, and retirement will not be f'd with. Overtime, BS benefits and retirement plans after working all our lives, is on a daily attack. The corporate elites want to control every dime we have, even after having put in fifty or forty years working in these corporatations to build the mega money they now so frivolously spend on weapons through conglomeracy.

I think one should be able to expect through ones government after submitting taxes year after year, to invest in our National agenda's or interests, that there should be that security net as an appreciation to ourselves when we have already contributed, all our lives, while elites make generations of money in one year. How greedy can they get.

I would want and expect a safe and efficient up to technology healthcare preventative service and chronic care insurance with 100% coverage, after all we gave our last dying breaths to keep our country number one all these years.

I would expect or want this country to face future problems of lack of education consequences and the third world products and toxins being shipped to our shores, that attack the learning centers with lead tainted products as young as 6 months old. Then the knuckleheads that signed the Nafta and China trade agreements have the nerve to deny us coverage or care for our autistic children. Our baby bibs that cover our children the majority of their learning years are LEAD TAINTED.

Also the reason for Universal Healthcare, the fact that those Oil companies and insurance brokers know that We the people are breathing a toxic mix for the last seventy years of fossil fuels and sulphides that are, proven cancer causing agents. Our household items and personal hygene products poluted by a non-oversighted Rethugliklan Neoconemen rubberstamped controlled congress and senate.

In the words of a very wise mean of our generation now:

"WE ARE THE LEADERS WE THE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN WAITING ON."
"WE THE PEOPLE ARE THE CHANGE WE THE PEOPLE NEED."
Barack Obama

Are we our brethern's keeper worldwide or only in certain segments of society, by economic advantage.

Who died and made them boss of our government anyways?
Take it back with our marching protesting voting bodies.
This government is Of the People, For the People and By the People!

Barack On Team America, Let's vote in our interest for once and rally around Barack Obama and Americans working from the bottom up for Change in our rural and urban areas.!

Barack the Vote!

Socialism

I have to disagree with you on your beliefs about Socialism. You really need to read some writings of the socialists. What it actually says is that the people should be in authority and that the government should be democratic - not the way it is disintegrating in this country but truly a country where the people are in charge. Do you think that will ever become possible in this country that reads the old intentions of the people and then just lies down and says "I don't know what to do." We the people need to stand up and say we will not allow the government we have not to continue!

V Diane

Hi.

Who are you addressing your post to? The only mention of the word Socialism occurs in your post.

Thanks,

Jim
