*Friday, March 14th - noon - Impeach for Peace Rally outside Congressman Bobby Scott's office.

For the past 8 months, 72 people have participated in the RVA4Peace Friday demonstrations. Many more have called or written the Congressman asking him, as a member of the House Judiciary Committee, to support impeachment proceedings for Bush and Cheney. At these rallies, anywhere from 3 to 30 people stand at the corner of Second and Clay Streets, holding Impeach signs. Motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians honk, flash peace signs, give thumbs-up or, on rare occasions, raise their middle fingers. Overall, the support has been tremendously positive. This Friday is a particularly important one - Noon to 1 PM.
