My name is Wil and I hail from a little town near the Belgrade Lakes cluster, situated inCongressional District #1, 25 miles northwest of Augusta in Kennebec County, good oleMaine. As a newcomer to this site, I bring with me in introduction, a few items that I believemerit consideration and a collective response from those of you who might be interested. 1) We must all contact John Conyers and tell him in no uncertain terms, that he must immediaely commence impeachment proceedings in the House Judiciary Committee, againstRichard Beeazlebub Cheney - with Bush being moved up to the on deck circle. 2) For over the past year (+), I have been e-mailing Rep. Tom Allen 3-4 times weekly,imploring him to become a sponsor for Dennis Kucinich's Res #333, and getting only threeform letter ( the same exact wordage, everytime) responses, telling me that this number one priority,at least to me; that being, impeachment, would be a distraction. Boooo!!!!Would any of you be willing to start e-mailing him, en-masse to the point of distracting him to the point, where he might just get off his butt and start representing us, we the people?I believe ever so fervently, that we must impeach these two, at the very least, crminals,and see to it that they are held accountable for their atrocious, immoral, illegal and muderousbehaviours. 3) To those of you in who live in the District #1 area, I need your help in getting Ethan Strimlingthrough the primary process and general election victoriously, so that he may be ableto represent us as our US Representative in Congress. He is a true progressive - a far cryfrom our current Tom Allen in the areas of integrity and having spine and true heart - whocares for the working person, the besieged upon middle-class. As a current third term Maine StateSenator, he has worked hard and smart (walked the walk) for us Mainers; seeking tax relief for uswhile simultaneosly authoring a bill that would raise the State Minimum Wage to $8.40,so that people like you and me, and our neighbors might have the beginning of a fighting chanceto get our noses above the waterline, as working people. He is for helping children andknows the value of REAL healthcare and what a REAL education is (he is currently the director of a non-profit organization that helps dis-advantaged youths). He has courage, integrity, a sense of purpose,direction and devotion towards a vision he has, that the working and middle class folks,such as ourselves, have a right to live justly in this country we can call our OWN. In his mind,and in mine, as well, America will not become an embedded haven for the Aristocracy -"BushWorld, INC" - at the expense of our rights, dignity and our own integrity as Americans!! Come help me, help him, so HE can help us ALL!! And, Lastly, 3) "YES WE CAN!!!" Let's all help Barack Obama go all the way to the White House.This is the time for some serious collective action, so that WE all can begin to turn thingsaround, here!!
