WE MUST NOT BE SILENT
In These Critical Times When All Too Many Voices Are Silent

THIS IS OUR TIME TO RESPOND

Come and Hear three courageous individuals who have chosen to speak out resoundingly and now, along with others, are calling for a full-scale mobilization of concerned people to participate in non-violent direct action.

WHO:

COLONEL ANN WRIGHT: Highest ranking U.S. official to resign in protest of the invasion of Iraq; author of the newly published book Dissent: Voices of Conscience.

REVEREND LENNOX YEARWOOD JR.: Officer in Air Force Reserve; Minister; Activist; President of the Hip Hop Caucus.

ADAM KOKESH: Sergeant US Marine Corps; Activist in Iraq Veterans Against War.

WHY: WE MUST NOT BE SILENT in the face of:

  • an illegal war of aggression and occupation against Iraq and Afghanistan and an impending threat of pre-emptive attack on Iran
  • state-sanctioned torture and illegal detentions
  • criminal negligence in response to hurricane Katrina
  • illegal surveillance and domestic spying
  • government-sanctioned abuses of the environment
  • destruction of our Constitution

THE ALARM HAS SOUNDED: THIS IS OUR TIME TO RESPOND

Join us to plan non-violent direct action for March 19th in Washington DC, as we enter the sixth year of the US occupation of Iraq.
