Democratic Primary Challenges

New here today and am wondering how things are going in Iowa. Does everyone(anyone) else think it's weird that IOWA is getting to decide (not by ballot) who will be the main candidates?? I am a New Yorker, but rural, and I DO NOT support Clinton for president. Does anyone else think Edwards is a better choice (since we can't have Kucinich according to conventional wisdom). Don't know if I did this correctly. Thanks for listening. Seren

Welcome to the site Seren...

We should know something by midnight tonight(ET). Seems that the results(official)are mailed to the hdqtrs in Iowa when the caucus is over. There are calls to the officials, but the actual numbers are kept secret.

Within hours the first caucus/primary will be over. It has obviously been a learning experience for most of our candidates. At least now they are all vetted and experienced campaigners in the greatest campaign of them all.

On to NH.

The greatest derangement of the mind is to believe in something because one wishes it to be so.

Iowa, Obama, Edwards, Hillary

Iowa, Obama, Edwards, Hillary. On the other side Huckabee beat Romney by 9% of the vote.
