Dumbest Democrat: Hoyer or Pelosi?I don't think Steny Hoyer is the dumbest Democrat in history. I think Nancy Pelosi is. As proof, I submit her, "If anyone can prove why Bush should be impeached" BS. If she doesn't know, then she has got to be the dumbest person in Washington DC at least.

I agree
Pelosi wins the title of Dumbest Democrat hands-down.
Hoyer or Pelosi
I agree. Hoyer would not have done such a thing without or because of Pelosi agenda. Pelosi is a Bush "enabler". She certainly doesn't represent us. She's not part of the solution but part of the problem.
Pelosi's the boss who's always right
As noted above, although Mr. Hoyer may do some dumb things, we have to bear in mind that Ms. Pelosi's his "boss," so to speak, and he's probably not going to do anything that's going to get him in trouble with the boss. He wouldn't be ready to cave on domestic spying if she wasn't OK with it, and meanwhile she's saying someone needs to show her proof of why Bush should be impeached.
Believe it or not, however, there may be some ray of light in such a statement. The bad news is, "What planet has this woman been living on for the past seven years?" but the good news is, it's the first tiny little indication that she's budging ever so slightly from her "impeachment is not on the table" hogwash. Now she's in essence saying, "someone" needs to show her "proof."
I certainly hope the Speaker is deluged over the next couple of weeks with phone calls, letters, e-mails, faxes, and personal visits, all saying, politely, but essentially, "You want some proof, Lady, here's some proof! See? See?"
