John Edwards just yesterday was at Columbus Kentucky.  He has wonderful ideas and a refreshingly honest approach to campaigning.  Many people stayed discussing what they felt needed to be addressed by Edwards.  During these conversations we of course ventured onto the subject of cost of living compared to minimum wage.  

     I was told that the reason the cost of living is so high is to prevent working class from advancing in society.  She called it voluntary slavery.  Boy did the bells go off in my head!  She was a RIGHT! That is the goal, to keep the 'working class' as slaves to the wealthy.

     The thing that amazed me however about the whole experience was how interested most folks were in the Mexican border.  I am sad to see that yet another distraction plot has succeeded.  I'm ashamed of my countrymen because I now know that border security will be the defining subject of the presidential election.
