Hi I just joined

Hey I just want to let everyone know that there is one Tennessen who will not vote for Fred Thopson.  Am I wrong in saying that it looks good for us in the next election? we are kicking there butt in fund raising and itseems that Bush is helping us out too (vetoing VCHIP). I talked to my mom yesterday and she said never seen anyone give the other party an election like Bush is doing. I have to say that I don't care who the Democratic nomminee is I'll vote for them they will have to be better then what we have put up with for the past 7 years.

Welcome to the site TennesseDemocrat

Nice to have you with us. This site is full of good information that should be able to help you as you convince others of your friends and relatives to vote Democrat for their own best interests and for those of the country.

Just the SCHIP veto alone is a very good starting point for discussion on why the republicans do not have the best interests of our country's children in their minds...I swear many of them have no hearts. The neo-cons (new conservatives)only seem to care about their wealthy friends and their pipe dream of building an American empire. Bush had no problem saying that the working poor "can always take their children to the emergency room, if they can't afford insurance". While he rails against expanding SCHIP to cover more children in need he calls it "socialized medicine" knowing that those words will scare most of his republican voters. What he doesn't tell you is that he and all of congress have the best medical insurance in the country and guess what, it is government insurance i.e. socialized medicine.

I hope that you enjoy the forums.
