Okay...one more time...this is your Brain on Bush: "A Dictatorship would be a heckuva lot easier..."
(Note charming laughter of White House staph and media-ho's in the background...très amusant!) This is Bush on your brain again: "A Dictatorship would be a heckuva lot easier -- it's [my italics] no question about it" {adoring giggles by White House staph and media-ho's: "hee...hee...hee..."} (2) Any questions?
(1) CNN.com, December 18, 2000, right on the heels of Bush's selection (2) Business Week, July 30, 2001 (At least to my ears, it sounds like "it's no question", not "there's no question" as quoted here). This happened just before 8/6/01, when Bush was given the intelligence briefing "Bin Laden Determined to Strike In US"... which he ignored ... then cheerfully continued with this extended vacation in Crawford, TX. More info from this 10/29/2002 Buzzflash article.

Bush's speech
Is Bush "acting stupid" so he can't be held accountable? Drunk or on drugs? He acts like an adult frat boy. This is our President? He is not fit to rule anything let alone our country. He like his businesses has bankrupted us.
And yet both party leaders ignore this man who would be happier owning a baseball team. It's hard to say who should be impeached here after six years of outrageous events by our government. All but 40 some in Congress have to go. Our agency heads all answer to Bush not us as by law. The party leaders held accountable for their treason.
They are lawless and the lawyers among them should lose their license to pratice law. They ignore the Constitution and the laws of the land. Were is the ABA to do this?
Bush and the Intelligence Committee both knew about Neo Con plans yet did little to protect us and our democracy. Congress is the enabler just as much as the President. Both their poll numbers are down but they go about their business like we are not on to them. The "dog and pony show" must go on (to say in power, to profit, to get "ours")!!
dictatorship in the usa? NO WAY!!!
with a dictatorship, it would take about 2 to 3 months for this wonderful nation to sink into the bowels of the third world!
Dictator ? Could be sooner than we thought!
Bush is brilliant. While we (the American People) were distracted (by him), he dismantled the Bill of Rights, emeasculated Congress, subjugated the Justice Department, and abandoned the rule of law. He made secrecy the hallmark of the government.
He deceived the nation into war, incapacitated the military (and sent it to the osder side of the globe), prepared internment camps throughtout the United States, expanded the doctrine of Martial Law, instituted unbridled surveillance, and instilled fear throughout the society.
He quietly amassed a private army (Blackwater) loyal to the (Bush) regime, and lavishly funded its training and equipping. By April, most of what's left of the U.S. military will either be arriving in Iraq or preparing to leave. The homeland might be vulnerable to any crisis. How could we respond?
Bush is ready to take charge.
