....For the record, and just in case you do happen to get pulled into a black hole, rest assured that you wouldn’t really feel anything terribly unusual at first. If the hole was a really big one, you wouldn’t be torn apart until you were about half a million kilometers from the center. Imagine that. Even as you were being pulled towards certain doom you might not suspect that anything was terribly wrong.
I suppose, when it comes it black holes, in a way, bigger is better.
And in a way, a really big black hole has formed right here on earth, and right here in the good old USA. And in a most precarious way, we all are dangerously close to the boundary from which there is no return. For in an undeniable and almost inevitable way there is a direct nexus between a barely discernible black hole in our own land and the reign of George W. Bush.
For the sake of simplicity, let’s call it the Bush Black Hole and understand that we can’t see into its abyss because black holes are devoid of light. But if we take a look around, we become painfully aware of the things that have disappeared from our lives in the past seven years, never ever to be seen again. Some vanished in secret while others were tossed into the chasm with arrogant disregard of all that we once were as a nation.
No matter how it came to pass, so much of value has crossed a mysterious boundary into the oblivion of the Bush Black Hole. Tragically, much of what has disappeared has not yet been missed by so many Americans. They don’t have a clue that so much that was so vital to their lives has been hauled forever into the bowels of this administration....

Dubya and his revelation about Vietnam
Dubya must have had a short Vietnam 101 Course. It also continues to prove how arrogant and pious this idiot really is. I believe if history serves me correctly dubya was drunk and partying while our kids were dying in Vietnam. Maybe that is where he is pulling the similarity between Vietnam and Iraq. He was AWOL during Vietnam and he is AWOL now as far as the occupation of Iraq.
He also fails to understand that Vietnam was not a war for oil but a war against communism. One he failed to show up for. There are no similarities between the two. Iraq is his quagmire, his baby.....and no wedding, nor library dedication for dear Laura will distract the people from the real issues facing our country today.
While our kids spill their blood in Iraq, dubya is sawing logs and fishing in his man made tank, remember the fishing tanks he had constructed in Crawford prior to the 2000 election; while his friends in west Tx were suffering through droughts, dubya was filling his ponds from the Brazos River Authority with adjudicated water.....this story was reported to the press, but they were so busy covering up for this maniac it was never reported.
The past is prologue.......as we countdown the days until this freak is out of office, and as we monitor the activities of Delay and Rove as they plot to derail the Democratic Party and the 2008 elections I hope the Democratic Leadership remembers our past mistakes. The battle has begun, the Dems need to come out swinging now.
I would love to see nothing more than dubya impeached, but I had rather pool the resources of the party and start now with ad campaigns exposing the activities of Rove and Delay and this corrupt administration.....and not forget to re-educate the voters on the past. We have been under Republican Reactionary Right Wing Zealots, they have allowed America to fall through the cracks, i.e., infrastructure, border security, health care, the list goes on and on.
We need to hammer the airways exposing the actions of the past that have brought us to where we are today.
Vietnam
I find hard to believe that President Bush should compare vietnam and Iraq in the same breath that this man avoided going to vietnam and Korea whatever. If that is the menatality of the President comparing these two wars, then it should be no surprise that even back then as it is today he is clueless and certainly not an honorable man and we should not forget Vice-President Cheney who like Bush ran away tucked between is tail avoiding going to war. It is an insult to those who serve in vietnam and Korea and certainly an major insult those whole have died in this un-necessary war. Its a shame that our house and senate are not brave enough to stop this insane war. I am beginning to think like vietnam, other people want to see this endless war continue, even with more body counts because as I see it its business, otherwise why is there Haliburton still have a hand there because of the Vice-President. So when are the Democrats going to impeached these two monsters.

his puter has been down for several days. His site is always something to look forward to because he tells the truth, excoriates the Right, has great humor and cartoons, and takes on all the pundits[even those who just think that they are pundits].
