An open email/letter to Speaker, Nancy Pelosi .... permission to repost, or use intact is granted to all
Greetings,
Speaker Pelosi,
While I feel good about the fact that you are the first woman speaker, and a pioneer for the fact that women can achieve what has been accepted for so long as a man's position in government, I have to state the following.
I am 63 years old and have lived through every president and administration since Franklin D Roosevelt, therefore am not a newcomer to the political climates of our democracy. I am also aware of the vast differences in our social structure and the evolution of the same.
I have extensive experience in construction, the musical arts, electronics, computer technology, and am currently studying for my bachelor’s degree in the bible and related studies.
So, now let me begin. I am a patriot. Not in the sense that Bush says he is a patriot, but one who cares for my nation's constitution. Our first vice president, John Adams, when he became president, adhered to much the same philosophy that Bush proclaims today. He actually signed a bill making it illegal to criticize the policies and the officials who are elected to administer the government of this nation. Thomas Jefferson had to overturn those very things that Adams professed and signed into law, and were contradictory to what the Constitution of the US was engineered to prevent from happening. Adams was an imperialist. G W Bush is an imperialist and has blatantly stated that he would prefer to be dictator. His whole administration is just like him.
In my construction experience I have witnessed the controlled demolition of several buildings and know the physics of a controlled fall, so it tends to make me upset when someone tries to BS me about 9-11. I, and many other Americans, am not stupid and we resent ignorance and the state of denial that comes as a result of the propaganda and misinformation that has come from this administration and from those who have preceded this administration, i.e., the Bush family prior to GW Bush.
I am also one of those Americans who stands firmly against the influx of illegal immigrants and oppose those who both promote this and have an agenda to grant these criminals amnesty.
I find it disheartening and sad that the present Democratic Party is beginning to take on the air of Republican Light. I am finding it hard to tell the difference between the neoconservatives and the far left radical liberals in this nation, and can easily see that the real separation is of those who have wealth and those of us who do not.
My points are as follows.
It is hypocritical to take office at any level, vowing to uphold the constitution of the people and then to do things that tend to weaken it and ultimately destroy it.
Number one. While it may be that the Bush administration did not actually destroy the towers and the people inside of them, it is blatantly obvious that someone brought those buildings down via controlled demolition. Anyone who views the videos of the collapse of all three buildings and cannot take into consideration the educated statements of many people who state that it was controlled demolition are fools and are insulting the intelligence of those of us who can see the signs that it is so. I will not go into the details that prove this to be so because the evidence is there to do just that, but people who are in denial about it and have profited from it for reasons of political and/or monetary reasons continue to misinform the citizens of this country and spread their propaganda concerning this tragic event as truth.
Number Two. To have illegal workers doing whatever form of labor that produces a profit without regard for the welfare and the security and the sanctity of our nation and it's constitution are guilty of hypocrisy of the greatest magnitude. It may not be as treasonous as the complicity involved in the attacks of 9-11, but it is just as damaging to our national pride and heritage.
I am outraged that many of those who are elected to be representatives of the people of this nation continue to ignore their responsibility to the citizenry by denying the truth. The elected officials of this nation at all levels are the employees of the people of this nation. Not visa-versa. It is time for those who hold the high offices of our nation to do the job they were elected to do and to NOT just work for the special interest groups with the money to buy the powerful elected officials of this nation. We the people want our nation back.
I am challenging you to uphold your primary responsibility to the people of America and to press for impeachment of Bush, Cheney, and Gonzales, and to follow this up with indictments of criminal activities and treason where applicable. Also, I am challenging you to do your job in congress and to support stopping the flow of illegal immigrants across our national borders and to stop the attempts at implementing amnesty for those who have managed to sneak into this country.
We, the people of America, resent the violations committed in the act of arresting the border patrol agents, who were faithfully executing the responsibilities demanded by their jobs and the illegal refusal of Sutton to appear in court in these cases and testify and tell the truth and nothing but the truth.
There is much more that I could say here, but will leave this as a start.
I love the constitution of my country and give wholly my loyalty to that. I will support my nation, but not those who intend to destroy it. I will in fact fight those, to my death, if necessary, those who intend to destroy this nation, it's constitution, and the liberties, which our founding fathers worked so hard to guarantee us in the framework of our national documents. And I believe that the threat of that comes more from within this country than without.
Please wake up and awaken the congress of this nation to these facts, and do what is right for our country ... not the pocket books and bank accounts of those who are wealthy and care not for the people of this country and their wishes. Please.... do the job you are elected to do and are supposed to be doing. For all Americans. Not just the rich imperialists. For God's sake be the Democratic Party as it was designed that you should all be .... the democratic republican philosophy that it was meant to be.
We do not want or need a king. Or puppets in congress who are enablers to an un-American administration.
Please do me the honor of only responding in person and personally to my email and do not insult me with a form reply, if you intend to reply at all.
May God forgive those who are intent on the destruction of our great democracy, and may He again be permitted to bless America again.
You have my permission to share this with the entire Congress of the United States of America if you wish to do so.
Respectfully,
Rev Walter M Dow

Is it not the entire country that needs to be lobbied, not just the majority leaders?
