Westminster, MD 21157

starts: 07/28/2007 - 12:00pm
ends: 07/28/2007 - 2:00pm

I will be at this intersection and will probably wander throughout Downtown Westminster along East & West Main Street, Liberty Avenue and Railroad Avenue. I expect to see alot of traffic during the day and will be holding a large orange sign with "HONK TO IMPEACH CHENEY".

I will also have a clipboard with many petitions for people that I meet on the sidewalks in Westminster.

To ANYONE that wants to join me, please e-mail me at bradgbrown@gmail.com and I will get in touch with you about where to park and other plans. Also forward your suggestions to me as well.

***I have been in contact with the City Clerk of Westminster and have contacted the Westminster City Police about this demonstration to ensure that our rights are protected in this rather "conservative" county.

Group plans 'Honk to Impeach Bush, Cheney' demonstration

Carroll County Times OnlineJuly 26, 2007 - By Heather CobunGroup plans 'Honk to Impeach Bush, Cheney' demonstrationwww.carrollcountytimes.com/articles/2007/07/26/news/local_news/newsstory5.txtA group is planning a demonstration in downtown Westminster Saturday to oppose President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.

Brad Brown, a Westminster resident, said he expects 50 to 100 people to turn out Saturday to hold signs at intersections that read, "Honk to Impeach Bush and Cheney."

Brown said the demonstration will be peaceful, and he has applied for a demonstration permit with the city.

Brown said he began planning the demonstration Monday night when he learned of the arrest of war protester Cindy Sheehan and more than 40 other demonstrators outside the office of Rep. John Coyners, D-Michigan.

Sheehan had met with Coyners to urge him to begin impeachment efforts in the House Judiciary Committee.
