These are my predictions for 2008
GORE/EDWARDS 2008
THOMPSON/GUILIANI 2008 for the Repube side
I have a feeling Gore will announce in September, and I have heard rumblings about
that also recently.
Thompson will come from behind, (literally) and take the nomination
as the constipated conservatives are foaming at the mouth for another 'B Actor' as
President.
I was right in 2004 when I predicted KERRY/EDWARDS

Well Wahoo, I think that you are almost right with the...
Thompson choice. I tend to think that Gingrich might be his running mate--OR--Jeb Bush since Thompson is so much like Dumbya. Gotta keep these dynastys going don't ya know.
As I recall, you did select Kerry/Edwards during the last go around. But, you selected them to win. Your bubble burst when Kerry capitulated immediately following his "I will fight to the last vote" statement.
I do hope(personal opinion)that Gore will not run. Who else might take the flag for the Dems? That is the question at this point in time. Do you suppose we could ask Snow White to run?

Ok, I am going to stick my neck out here and say that the people are tired of Bushs.
Jeb has a lot of family problems over and above his mother, the George Washington look alike from the planet Obscene Illusion. His wife hasn't lived with him for years ( maybe it happened when she caught him with Katherine Harris in the office created for the lieutenant governor). His kids have been in some serious trouble, hoping for some parental attention no doubt. If Jeb had smothered his brother when he first caught him shoving fire crackers up frogs butts he might have been the worst president in our history, but alas he has to be satisfied with being only the brother of the worse president ever.
Nope, Kriswella predicts there will be no Jeb Bush this election.

Edwards for VP again?
What could John Edwards do as vice president? He was smothered by Kerry in 2004, do you think Wahoo that he would go through that humiliation again? He knows his life's work is to fight poverty, his wife is seriously ill with cancer, maybe terminally ill,...why would he deign to be somebody's running-mouthpiece mate? I am very much for John Edwards , as president, and very much against the idea of him being VP all over again. However it works out in 2008, I sure hope it isn't like that.

He didn't make a VP prediction this time. You have to make allowances for Wahoo--the Portland heat wave has baked his brains.

Grinch, he said: Gore/Edwards 2008. That's what I was referring to. I've heard it was hot in Portland, so I think Edwards will soon show up there to talk about the heat; he's showing up everywhere to talk about everything these days. The intriguing question for me is who Edwards might pick for VP if he actually was nominated; I don't think he'd flinch at picking somebody who is very liberal and holds strong views in their own right, because I don't think Edwards is afraid of the truth. Although, it probably wouldn't be Kucinich, whom he riled-up recently, and who questions Edwards' " ...integrity...."
Frankly, I doubt almost everything that Edwards claims...
what he talks about appears to be the old 'chicken in every pot'...something for everyone sort of thing. The deeper you dig, the less he looks appealing.
I note that all three so-called front runners want to keep the insurance companies and big pharma in the picture on health care. Much of Edwards wealth comes from the health care bidness as it exists now.
I am too old and skeptical I suppose.

old skeptics
From one old skeptic to another, I say keep the eyes squinted and the mistrust revved-up. Just keeping my cynical engine from going into high gear takes much of my waking energy.
OK With Me
Any ticket with Gore is Good! I still have 8 "Re-Elect Gore in '08" Buttons waiting to be worn, which I purchased from BuzzFlash in December, 2006. I felt then, as I feel now, that Gore is the best person to win. Edwards is my second choice, but I don't know if he would settle for running in the second spot again.
Thompson & Giuliani BOTH have "lady" problems!
Every picture one sees of Thompson and his wife, shows him "learing" at her. It looks particularly "icky," since she is half his age! Then, you have Nixon's comments about him on tape, saying something about him being a "stupid boy!" "HA!"
As for Giuliani, he has at least 4 problems: 3 wives, children who hate him, NY firemen who hate him, and a "tainted" ex-business partner. He will NOT make it!!!

Gingrich Would Seal The Deal
For the Democrats! His 3 wives would add to the "mockery" the hypocritical Republicans continue to make of themselves continually! This is soooooo funny!
