Activist Wiretapped Out !
As a democratic activist that replies to alot of today's ongoing issues, I have noticed a wiretap is on my telephone. It's been there since July 2005, and there is no way that I can get it turned off, or do anything about it being there for that matter. Basically what this means is that I am a "suspected terrorist". I don't like being called that because I'm actually a pretty nice guy who beleives in justice. But with George W. Bush in office, justice has a really weird twist that does not equal the publics veiw of true justice. Since July the 5th, there has been a scrubbing noise on my telephone and the only thing I can do to stop that awful sound is to take out the phone battery which will eventually run down so that my phone cannot be used. This scrubbing sound goes on continuosly, so I have let my battery run down at least 5 times since last week. When I connect my wireless phone back on the reciever to charge it up so that I can call my family to let them know I'm Ok, the scrubbing sound starts all over.
Tonight I read an article titled "Data on Americans mined for terror risk" put out by the Associated Press on Yahoo News. When I connect the dots of reality in the Bush government with the scrubbing sound that comes from my phone, it makes damn good sense that what that scrubbing sound is on my telephone is actually our government or the NSA digging for data off my telephone. As I said earlier, I have nothing to hide, but what should I do if the FBI or the CIA winds up knocking on my door one day saying that I'm a terrorist and they insist on taking me to a lockup ? Who would be able to prove that I'm not what they say I am besides my family ? I have even tried writing my senators and congressional representaive, but they are republican also. My congressional representative sent me a form to fil out which will get the FBI involved, but I haven't sent it back in yet because I don't trust this government under this criminal administration. And it also says below where I'm supposed to sign "results may not be in your best interest".
