The Party's Over, DickThe call for Cheney's resignation must begin. Darth Dick has miscalculated with the unitary executive doctrine. His resignation may be the only way we can spare ourselves from the political conflict about to unfold in our fair capital. Though I don't expect any momentum until he refuses the first congressional subpeona, the call will resonate as events unfold. Americans just want a new direction. We are well and truely screwing ourselves by putting up with this nonsense any longer. Dick Cheney must go. This administration is a wholesale assault on the very concepts, rights, and liberties that define us. Weary of the constitutional erosion and suffering fearmonger fatigue, we get to right this, and in a time of war. Since we can expect nothing but stonewalling, impeachment and removal could occur within weeks of each other. Incarceration must follow from the other criminal charges that will be filed. No pardons. The possibility exists that more than 70 Senators will vote Aye once the evidence is on the table. (bookmark this now for later confirmation). It really shouldn't take more than a week or three of investigations, even on DC time to unearth and display some tasty displays of Cheney's work. Add a little Libby and Fitz and I think you got stew. Time is exceedingly of the essence. There are real threats out there that we must deal with. These guys can't be driving bus at the next geoplitical crossroad. Really. There can be no illusion that a resignation will come to pass. He loves power far more than the republic, but he's dirty and everybody knows it. The investigations will show Cheney's fingers on everything that resembles a policy with Rove's lips firmly inserted into the propagandinator. We may even wonder how W filled his time. There is a political solution to our military problem. Dick goes first. Cheney - OUT!......After.....
I definitely would like to see Cheney fade off into the sunset because as a "self-appointed V.P.", Bush will be rendered completely impotent! (Does anyone really believe that Dubya is running this dog and pony show?) BUT, I really, really, (did I mention REALLY?) want to find out who the hell was part of Cheney's oh-so-secret energy commission! That is probably the best kept and most protected secret of this Administration, second only to the run up to the Iraq debacle. Cheney, the war mongering, money grubbing, "Ring Master" needs to 'fess up before he goes off to spend the gazillion bucks in "deferments" from Halliburton he'll garner once out of office.
The neocons won't run out
The neocons won't run out of bodies that easily. Chaney out...Rice in and Negroponte in. Senior has a lot of OLD friends to take up the slack, if needed.

"Fishing in troubled waters"
Here we go again! Let's blame someone else for the Bush administration failures. Afghanistan was responsible for 15 Saudi men hijacking planes on 9/11 and we had to tear the place apart. A "terrorist camp" in northern Iraq (in the US "protected" area) was given as one of the reasons we had to bomb the hell out of the entire country of Iraq. Now we are gonna blame all the security problems in Iraq on 5 Iranians? Why hasn't George tried to patrol the Iranian boarder if he wants them to "keep their folks at home"?
