I am also from KY. click my username anywhere I have posted and hit the contact. I will take emails this way and maybe we can build a network to do just that. If not we can always stay in touch for the Gov. election and to "Ditch Mitch" in 08. I will be posting on the Gov. election soon, I just have to make up my mind who I will support first. Its down to two!!
Much agreed
As a former constituent of Mitch McConnell, he needs to be voted out in 2008. My father influenced my opinions on him greatly. I was much too young to remember, but years ago, 1984, 85, Sen. McConnell held a battered women's forum in my hometown and turned it into a political fund raiser. That kind of bait and switch should horrify voters. But here it is, 20+ years later and he is still in office.
How does anyone else feel about term limits? I think they are the only way to push forward positive change in our current situation. As it stands, too many congressional representatives are making careers out of being legistlators and ineffectively representing what the people need.
I am in Bowling Green, KY and would like to gather to determine a local course of action to press for legitimate government and positive government. Anyone else up for it?
