Washington D.C. attorney Matthew T. Famiglietti will announce that he is seeking the Democratic nomination for the U.S. House of Representatives for the 8th Congressional District on November 21, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elmo's Coffee Pub located at 2300 Mount Vernon Avenue in Alexandria, Virginia.

Mr. Famiglietti has been an attorney for 14 years, and is a native of Washington, D.C. He is active as a volunteer attorney for the AARP Legal Council for the Elderly and the Archdiocese Legal Network of Washington, D.C.
