A half-billion dollars to secure a worthless legacy
How to you smear lipstick on the worst presidency in our nation's history? Ask corporate donors and arab governments and businessmen to pony up half a billion dollars to build the largest presidential library in the country.
The most frightening aspect of this is that they're going to use part of the cash to set up a thinktank modelled after the Reagan Legacy Project, which will have as its primary goal, the re-writing of history, portraying Bush Jr. as a misunderstood genius who was only guilty of being a tad before his time.
Pentagon STILL spying on antiwar movement.
This is one of those things that needs to be taken care of, in the first 100 hours of the new congress.
So much bullshit to clear up, so little time......

This falls under the category of "I S**t you not..."
Republicans and Bush ignore the warnings of the IAEA and prominent neocons, and put up a website detailing how to build a nuclear weapon.
I seem to remember the Rosenbergs getting the chair for this...

Expecting the religious right to stay home in november? Dream on.
The liberal/progressive left has, in recent days, supposed that the religious right would flee from the republican party, in the wake of the Foley scandal. This is wishful thinking that is due, for the most part, in the left not knowing the nature of the hard-core christian conservative community. They are far more pragmatic, when it comes to politics, than you might assume.
Olbermann rocks,yet again.
Olbermann, once again, speaks the words we've all been too angry to articulate.

Snapshot of the Foley scandal- 10/4/06
Foleygate's big- but it isn't enough to ensure victory in november- hopefully, we can all walk and chew gum, at the same time. Keith's highlights...

We just don't understand internet slang...
Stephen Colbert explains the innocent nature of Mark Foley's instant messaging.
Woodward on Larry King.
Many apologies folks- I recorded the interview, and was all set up to post it here, but after watching it, I couldn't.
I know the liberal blogosphere has re-discovered their love affair with Woodward, but in the interviews I've seen of the guy, he strikes me as perhaps the most clueless guy on the planet. After issuing forth two books that were portraits of undying love for this criminal administration, he re-emerges with a new book that contradicts his earlier, glowing reportage, and by way of explanation, Woodward innocently shrugs his shoulders, and says "I was just reporting on what I saw- I had no idea what was coming down the way..."
MSNBC exclusive on George Allen.
George Allen can run from his racism, but he can't hide...

Olbermann's latest special statement- 9/25/06
This is by far Keith's most vigorous, articulate, and damning commentary to date. Keith Olbermann has been delivering these statements, weekly, and each one strikes to the heart in ways that defy description- watch, and enjoy...
Veteran Journalist Michael Ware on the intelligence report citing Iraq invasion as a catalyst for terror.
Michael Ware is one of the few journalists on the ground in Baghdad with the street cred to back up their reporting. Here, Ware speaks on the validity of the congressional intelligence report that cites the invasion and occupation of Iraq as a catalyst for terrorism.
I wanna hear more democrats come out and call Bush and his nest of vipers out for what they are:
